Q: What is HID?
A: HID stands for High Intensity Discharge which comes from a glass tube full of Xenon gas. There is a seperate ballast and ignitor that strikes an arc and ignites the gas in the bulb. This creates that brilliant white light that is seen on most high end luxury vehicles on the road today. The purpose and advantage of Xenon lighting is the ability to create a more natural white color light which more closely resembles daylight. Thus making it easier on your eyes for night time driving. An added benefit is the amount of light produced by this process. The increased amount of light gives you better night time vision on the road so you can see obstacles that may impeede your driving, and give you added reaction time to adjust for the conditions that you normally wouldn't be able to see at night. It also helps in rural and dark areas as you will be able to throw a larger beam out with brigher light filling that light pattern.

A: HID Solutions is a California based company that specialized in localized HID lighting technology and offers specific solutions for special needs of HID Xenon lighting customers. In addition to offering basic HID kits we offer our solutions to the BMW, Dodge, Lincoln, and Mercedes Benz community that have comatibility issues running aftermarket Xenon lighting due to advanced on board diagnostic computers factory installed on these vehicles. Our lighting solutions are tested in depth before being released to the public. These solutions are able to effectively enable the end user to use these aftermarket products safely on these high end vehicles. HID Solutions was established in 2005 when the owner of HID Solutions captured the Lincoln community by storm by creating and offering a solution to the extinct HID lighting found on these vehicles. Since 2005 we have sold hundreds of these kits to dealers, consumers, and auto repair shops. To this day we are still the #1 lighting outfitter for the Lincoln Mark VIII and CAN bus equipped Dodge Ram Consumers who seek better lighting technology.

A: Every car varries, some cars trigger a bulb out error and some cars cause Lighting Control Module errors. HID Solutions has tested all of the cars that we have specifically listed and marketed light kits to, you can buy with confidence if you find your vehicle listed under the products system.
Q: I have a Dodge Ram with CAN BUS lighting system, will the dodge kit work for my truck?
A: Yes, our 03-05 and 06-08 Dodge Ram kits come with a specially wired harness that is setup with relay's and load resistors to ensure that you won't have any CAN BUS errors. You will not experience any flickering, flashing, or light out errors with our system.
Q: I have a Lincoln Mark VIII, how does your kit replace the factory Sylvania 9500 HID?
A: Our Lincoln Mark VIII kits use a Phillips D2S style HID bulb, and digital ultra slim ballast to integrate into the factory housing utalizing our specially constructed bulb adapter. This system has been in use since 2005 when we designed this system for one of our customers cars. We have sold hundreds of these kits to Lincoln owners, enthusiasts, and even dealers across the Continental US and Canada.
